The system is fully controllable via the internet, allowing astronomical observations to be conducted using only a web browser. <\/p><p>ROST bridges the gap between amateur and professional astronomy. It serves the Section members and students, while simultaneously providing data that can be utilized in professional observation campaigns and research projects in collaboration with the Instruments)<\/strong>. For remote access, the <strong>WebSIPS<\/strong> system is utilized, which communicates with SIPS via a REST API. <\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Consequently, the observer does not need to install any specialized software. The main objective is to acquire measurements that are useful for professional and student projects as well as joint observation campaigns. <\/p><h5 data-section-id=\"1v0buly\" data-start=\"207\" data-end=\"226\">Variable stars<\/h5><p data-start=\"227\" data-end=\"391\">Long photometric series of <strong data-start=\"252\" data-end=\"320\">eclipsing, pulsating, eruptive, and other variable stars<\/strong> make it possible to monitor changes in their brightness and determine the times of minima or maxima.<\/p><h5 data-section-id=\"11f9gfj\" data-start=\"393\" data-end=\"407\">Exoplanets<\/h5><p data-start=\"408\" data-end=\"557\">ROST enables the monitoring of <strong data-start=\"431\" data-end=\"453\">exoplanet transits<\/strong> and the refinement of their parameters and transit times. Close cooperation takes place particularly with the Solar Department, for which ROST provides observations of stellar flares. <\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Moravian Instruments<\/strong> contributes significantly to the technical solution, providing the main CCD camera, the guiding camera, and the SIPS\/WebSIPS control software.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The <strong>Czech Astronomical Society<\/strong> made the acquisition of the mount possible, and the <strong>Amateur Sky Survey (Amat\u00e9rsk\u00e1 prohl\u00eddka oblohy)<\/strong> supported the project by purchasing the primary mirror and photometric filters.<\/p><p>ROST also serves the Astronomical Expedition, the education of young astronomers, and the acquisition of data for student and professional
